March 25th, 2024 - Community Bank named one of America's Best Regional Banks
Community Bank (NASDAQ: CBFV) is proud to announce that it has been recognized as one of America’s Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions 2024 by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group. This study was based on an analysis of over 9,440 banking institutions throughout the United States, more than 35,000 customer interviews, and over 140,000 reviews of regional banks and credit unions. Key ranking factors included bank creditworthiness, profitability, lending activity, overall financial health, and media reputation monitoring.
Today, only three years into an ambitious 10-year strategic growth plan, Community Bank continues to serve its traditional markets while expanding with a new Commercial Banking Division, a dedicated Small Business Team, a new Treasury Management Team, specialized financial services for the health care industry, a locally based call center, and a series of financial technology investments aimed at improving the Bank's client interactions.
“Community Bank is honored to have been recognized as one of the Best Regional Banks in America and we believe this award is the result of our relentless pursuit of providing an exceptional client experience and a focus on providing returns to our all stakeholders,” said John H. Montgomery, President and CEO of Community Bank. “We are continuously exploring new ways to enhance our client’s banking experience, whether it’s through new financial solutions, innovative digital tools, or providing our clients the ability to bank when, where and how they desire.”
Out of the more than 9,440 banking institutions included in the study, only 250 regional banks were recognized by Newsweek.
“Regional banks and credit unions play a pivotal role in meeting the needs of communities across the nation,” said Nancy Cooper, global editor in chief of Newsweek. “Newsweek and market-data research firm Plant-A Insights are proud to introduce 'America’s Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions 2024,’ highlighting local lenders that are committed to the needs of their communities.”
As Community Bank continues its strategic growth plan, it remains committed to a people-centric model that focuses on clients and employees and a values-driven approach that embraces an agile work environment while leaning into new technologies and processes.
The goal, Montgomery said: “Making it simple and easy for our clients to bank with us.”
